Lavenham Rug Cotton Worker Split Gilet in Navy.

Cotton and Recycled Polyester.

Quilted top yoke, front pockets, cord binding, popper front.

The perfect workwear layering piece.

Crafted from two equally hard wearing fabrics, this gilet is topped with a classic Lavenham quilt and the lower panel is ‘rug cotton’ – the same cloth they used way back when in there horse rugs. It’s a durable cotton twill, beautifully softened after garment washing.

External patch pockets reinforced with Herringbone tape trim give the wearer easy access, and mean the piece can switch from mid to outer layer as necessary.

Each Lavenham piece is crafted with care from there Suffolk factory, just six miles from the site of there original factory.

Lavenham as we know it today originated in the 1960's.

Lavenham predominantly work with British cloth manufacturers, renowned for their durability and quality, and the same is true of the wadding used in there quilting, which comes from the North of England and is made of 65% recycled fibres.
