The Bakers jacket was the first ever Universal Works garment, it payed homage to designer David’s father’s carrier as a backer, the first sample was constructed on the kitchen table.

11oz denim designed by UW long-term Portuguese dedicated denim specialists. This is a medium-weight, right-hand twill Indian woven ‘Misato’ denim, that has been traditionally dyed with natural plant-based indigo. The denim is then given a rinse garment wash to remove any shrinkage. Super comfortable and easy to wear, this is a hard-wearing denim that is destined to be your new go-to.

Made in Portugal by one of UW favourite jacket makers, they have been working with them since 2011.

This garment is dyed with indigo. Take care as some colour transfer may occur when worn close to lighter-coloured garments and furniture. Like your favourite jeans, this garment will gradually fade with wear. Wash separately.
